JUN 1996 CL420 (279 bhp, injection, 'Cat', V8, 5-speed automatic); CL500 (308 bhp, injection, 'Cat', V8, 5 speed automatic) and CL600 (389 bhp, injection, 'Cat', V12, 5-speed automatic) 2-door Coupes introduced. All have metallic paint, alloy wheels, climate control, electric sunroof, electric adjustable rake and reach power assisted steering, remote central locking, alarm, immobiliser, dual airbags, side airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control, cruise control, electric windows, electrically adjustable heated mirrors, radio cassette, electrically adjustable heated seats, headlamp wash wipe, and walnut interior. CL600 also has electric rear blind, self levelling suspension, stereo upgrade and electronic stability control.

COMMENTS:
A fabulous fast cruiser with plenty of room for four and sumptuous accommodation. Understated style and engineering to this S-class based 2-door Coupe. A Grand Tourer in every way but massively expensive to buy and run.
